Two things:

Well, we saw another one--much smaller--trying to cross the road yesterday. We stopped, grabbed a stick, and pushed it out of harm's way so it could continue to rid our area of nasty vermin.
But, in the process, a group of young Bahamians walked by and gathered around as we pushed this vipera Bahamianus to the side.
The conversation among them went as follows:
Boy 1: Watch out fa da snake, bay!
Boy 2: Nah bay. He aint bite. He one a dem Bo Constructors.
"Bo Constructor". Classic.
