I've read the travel web sites, and listened to the complaints about construction on Paradise Island. But I got to see it all with my own eyes the other day, while dropping my son off to tennis camp there.
Ay Carumba!
Although you can see the monstrous new phase of Kerzner's Atlantis from the bridge as you travel over the harbour to Paradise Island, this view doesn't hold a candle to what awaits you once you get over the bridge.
It's a bloody beehive of activity!
I almost felt like I had stepped into a Bob the Builder video, with trucks and machines of every conceivable shape and size buzzing back and forth and left and right, merrily singing "Can We Build It? Yes We Can!"
I know it will be beautiful once completed, but we're used to things moving a bit slower in the islands.
